a Venezuela.
After two months without posting, Anacapri is back to say hello and couldn't do it before dedicate more than a few words about my absence, to Venezuela. I must warn that the words you're going to read today are not meant to assume a political position, but rather from the heart and mind of a Venezuelan girl; nor do I aspire to justify my absence or its cause less why I'm back, which as you know, is due to the situation being experienced by my beloved country. Whatever you know about the situation in Venezuela, whether Venezuelans or dear readers from other countries, I don't want to talk from the beginning of events, but rather how a 21-year-old Venezuelan girl lives those events.

To me, everything that happens in Venezuela (and not just since the wave of protests broke out, that's just a late result) is due to the loss of something very important for any society: values. You cannot take a fight, an attempt binding if there are no values. Respect, tolerance and human quality is something that has been lost in this country. This human contempt may be due to lack of leadership with values in government, but the truth is, the only culprits are citizens that have allowed the division into "groups" (who believe they are the only that have the reason) and have a hypocritical brotherhood.. In Venezuela we are victims of this political and fanatical polarization, so much so that we may be experiencing it right now as you try to guess which side I belong; and no, that is precisely the problem, simply WE ARE VENEZUELANS.

Venezuela will progress (because undoubtedly progress is needed, not a revolution that has taken and will need more than fifteen years) the time that Venezuelans want to listen to each other, working as a team without political or social distinctions and much less impose authoritarianism that only one has the reason. Here in Venezuela, and the whole world, we ALL have the reason fighting like ONE. As this happens, I'll try to fill my Venezuela with values and is likely that I cannot do much from a fashion blog, but from Anacapri I do more to my country and for my country than many others out there who claim to love and work for Venezuela. If there is something that is also needed are critic people and not those who repeat what politicians say, so if you disagree with my words, is also valid.
