Pretty in pink and silver

As much as I adore my jeans, I can also use a good dress. I love when I have special moments worthwhile to wear my less casual dresses. This look was the result of a birthday dinner with my best friend. The dress is pretty classic, so I used the silver clutch to break the formality of the dress and shoes make the set even more classic.

Por más que adore mis jeans, también soy niña de usar un buen vestido. Adoro cuando se me presentan momentos especiales que valgan la pena para sacar a pasear mis vestidos menos casuales. Este look fue el resultado de la cena de cumpleaños de mi mejor amigo. El vestido es bastante clásico, por eso usé el clutch plateado para romper con el formalismo del vestido y los zapatos que hacen aún más clásico el conjunto.

The one

Sin duda, perdemos mucho tiempo pensando en los mil y un conjuntos que podemos armar con la prenda que estamos a punto de pagar, pero que muchas veces las dejamos ir por no encontrar con qué usarla. Hoy les muestro una pieza que rompió con mis propias reglas de shopping, nunca pensé con qué la usaría por la simple razón de necesitarla conmigo. No me arrepiento de haber roto mis reglas y haber comprado esta blusa, todos los días que paso con ella menos me la quiero quitar y más conjuntos por armar se me ocurren. La moraleja de todo esto: cuando te guste algo ¡compralo! El peor arrepentimiento no es el haberlo comprado, sino dejarlo ir. A veces hay que arriesgarse por lo que uno quiere, y si únicamente nos apegamos a lo que creemos correcto, dejamos pasar muchas oportunidades, así mismo pasa con la ropa.

No doubt, we lose much time thinking about the thousand and one sets that we can build with the garment that we are about to pay, but many times we let it go because we don't find how to use it. Today I show you a piece that broke my own rules of shopping, I never thought how would use it for the simple reason that I need it with me. I don't regret breaking my rules and have purchased this blouse, every day I spend with it the less I want to remove and assemble sets come to mind. The moral of all this: when you like something, buy it! The worst regret isn't having purchased it, but let it go. Sometimes you have to take risks for what you want, and if we just stick to what we believe is right, we miss many opportunities, so it is with clothing.

Noir

Sometimes when I have to put together a set, avoid the black. Despite being classic, it seems that there is no safe and easy-to-use color, making that any look feels uncreative, nothing risky; is the color of those who don't know what to wear and prefer to be safe rather than sinning "badly dressed ". Noting some of the street style here and there, I 've noticed that I've been wrong; just as there are women who idealize pink , I did it with the black. All chic, elegant and extremely attitude women idolize this color even I dare say they are not afraid. If there is a challenger color, that's the black, but there will be so flattering and edgy color like it. I think that's why the noir will always be "the new black". Never let yourself be dominated by one color, because that day will die your creativity. I can only tell you that I'm starting to enjoy it, as if my "nero period " will be discussed, so this is not the only set in this tone that will see me.

A veces cuando me toca armar un conjunto, evito el negro. A pesar de ser clásico, me parece que no hay color más seguro y tan fácil de usar, haciendo que cualquier look se sienta poco creativo y nada arriesgado; es el color de quienes no sabemos qué vestir y preferimos estar seguras en vez de pecar de "mal vestidas". Observando un poco el street style de aquí y de allá, me he dado cuenta que he estado equivocada; así como hay mujeres que idealizan el rosado, yo lo hacia con el negro. Todas las mujeres chic, elegantes y de suma actitud idolatran este color, hasta me atrevería a decir que no le temen. Si hay un color retador, ese es el negro, pero no habrá color tan favorecedor y vanguardista como él. Creo que por eso el noir siempre será "el nuevo negro". Nunca te dejes dominar por un color, porque ese día morirá tu creatividad. Solo me queda decirles que yo estoy empezando a disfrutarlo, como si de mi "periodo nero" se tratará, así que este no es el único conjunto en este tono que me verán.

Muse in white

Happy Mothers Day! I couldn't start this Sunday post without wishing a happy day to those brave women who always give their best, not for them but for us, their children. But the look of today is not exactly the one I used in this celebration (the best set for this day were the pajamas ♥) but I continued with outfits that had kept those trips to cold sites that let the heat of Caracas well away; although slowly starting the rainy season in Venezuela, so that might be taking some ideas. This time I stuck to my beloved total white nearly with a muse's accessory: the golden headband.

¡Feliz día de las madres! no podía empezar este post dominguero sin desearle feliz día a todas esas mujeres valientes que siempre dan su mejor esfuerzo, no por ellas sino por nosotros, sus hijos. Pero el look de hoy no es precisamente el que usé en esta celebración (el mejor conjunto para este día fueron las pijamas ♥) sino que yo continuo con outfits que tenía guardados de aquellos paseos a sitios fríos que dejan el calor de Caracas bien lejos; aunque poco a poco va comenzando la época de lluvia en Venezuela, por lo que podrían ir tomando ciertas ideas. Esta vez me apegué a mi adorado total white con un detallazo casi de musa: la bandana dorada.

Animal print and Leather

Cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de ir a algún sitio frío, intento sacar esa ropa (que me fascina) que no puedo usar diariamente porque me derretiría. Así fue como hace algunas semanas pude sacar a pasear mi trench coat que tenía tiempísimo sin usar por el calor que está haciendo en Caracas ¡quiero que termine ya! Aproveché de usar la parka con una de las mejores combinaciones que creo que he hecho con ella y los pantalones de cuero; me fascina como esa camisa de animal print junto a su textura, más la estética de los pantalones y el color del abrigo se complementan. A su vez el color de la cartera hace que los otros resalten más. Una buena gama de colores para jugar con tus pantalones de cuero.

Whenever I have the opportunity to go to a cold place, I wear those clothes that I love but cannot use every day because it would just melt me. So it was a few weeks ago when I finally took a walk with my trench coat that had a long time unused because of the heat in Caracas. Want it to end! I took the opportunity using the parka with one of the best combinations I think I've done with it and leather pants; it fascinates me how that shirt with animal print texture with the aesthetic of the pants and coat color complement each other. At the same time the color of the clutch makes the others stand out. A good range of colors to play with your leather pants.

Festival outfit

¡Ahora sí volví! aunque la circunstancias no lo permitan del todo, regreso a darle cariñitos al blog y ustedes. Abril es un mes lleno de fechas interesantes y entre esas el inicio de la llamada "temporada de festivales". Aunque Venezuela no sea localidad de algunos increíbles conciertos de música, el clima me hace sentir que estoy en uno, abril junto con mayo son de los meses en que hace más calor y ver la red llena de conjuntos frescos y llenos de tendencia hippie y bohemias me hace apreciar más el calorcito. Esta vez quise usar este vestido que era de mi mamá y usarlo a modo de sobretodo, tú también puedes intentar hacer esto, solo tienes que procurar mantener el equilibrio entre la proporción y las capas que llevas, ya que éstas pueden sumarte peso o hacerte ver más baja de lo que eres, por ello llevo shorts un poco ceñidos, ellos van hacer que lo ancho y largo del vestido no me haga ver más gordita y bajita de lo que soy.

I already came back! Although the circumstances doesn't permit it at all, I return to cuddle the blog and you too. April is a month full of interesting dates among them the beginning of the "festival season". Though Venezuela is not a location for some amazing music concerts, the weather makes me feel like I'm at one, April and May are the months when it's warmer and seeing the net full of fresh and full sets of hippie and bohemian trend makes me appreciate the warmth. This time I wanted to wear this dress that belonged to my mom and use it as an overcoat, you can also try to do this, you just have to try to maintain the balance between the proportion and layers you wear, as they may add you weight or make you see lower than you are, that's why I wear shorts a bit tight, they will make the width and length of the dress doesn't make me look chubby and petite than I am

Shiny Fever

El brillo en la ropa ha estado siempre presente, desde vestidos, carteras, zapatos, sobres etc. Esta ocasión Miu Miu tomó el control de esparcir resplandor en sus prendas, las cuales se han convertido en todo un furor, tanto así que sitios web como Teenvogue, nos han ofrecido unos DIY(hazlo tú mismo) para que obtengas tus propios calzados al estilo de la marca, ya que no todos tenemos la oportunidad de ser dueñas de unos reales. Yo personalmente recrearía unos de sus hermosos stilettos escarchados. 

The glitter of clothes has always been there, from dresses, bags, shoes, envelopes, etc. At this occasion Miu Miu took control of spreading shine on its pieces, which have became a furor, even that some web sites such as Teen Vogue, have offered to us some DIY (Do It Yourself) to get our own shoes the same style of the brand, as not everybody have opportunity to get the real ones. Personally, I would recreate one of their glittering stilettos.
