Merry Christmas!

I wish you a Merry Christmas, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy, o wait, we still have some days of 2015, but yes, Merry Christmas! How was your night? I had a delightful night in a beautiful cabin at La Colonia Tovar, a small german town here in Venezuela. We spent the night with music and great food. And of course, a dress on point to the occasion, a little not so black dress, an outfit that I can wear along of the year, a versatile look just how I like. What did you wear? I have more holiday´s outfit to show you so, I will see you later.

Feliz Navidad, feliz Navidad, prospero año nuevo y, o espera, aún debemos disfrutar los últimos días que nos quedan del 2015, así que ¡Feliz Navidad! ¿Qué tal tu Noche Buena? Yo tuve una noche deliciosa en una cabaña en la Colonia Tovar, una pequeña colonia alemana acá en Venezuela. Pasamos la noche entre música preciosa y una cena estupenda. Y claro, un vestido ideal para la ocasión, un pequeño vestido no tan negro que puedo usar a lo largo del año, un conjunto versátil justo como a mí me gusta ¿Qué vestiste en la cena? Yo todavía tengo looks de estos días decembrinos que mostrarles, así que los veo pronto.

In my pants

Continuing with dates crowded of celebrations, I dressed with pastels for a toast, which was at daytime. In such a toast, there were many cocktail dresses, were not entirely misplaced, but back with the story that I commented on this post; to have a presence on one occasion, at an event, a toast, you do not have to dress like you are expected to do, it is not necessary the usual outfit to look good and feel good. Pants are not opposite of femininity, I've seen thousands of women fleeing for thinking that or believe that will not look attractive, otherwise a good pants suitable to the occasion is not only chic, elegant and even comfortable (remember to look good there is no reason to get rid of this adjective) also it makes you look so sexy in your garment associated with men's outfits, depending on the model and how you combine, it can be very daring and seductive; I like the idea of using sets recreating men's outfits but with very feminine clothes.

Siguiendo con las fechas abarrotadas de celebraciones, me vestí de pasteles para un brindis, el cual fue de día. En dicho brindis, habían muchos trajes cóctel, no estaban desubicados del todo, pero vuelvo con la historia que les comentaba en este post; para tener presencia en una ocasión, en un evento, un brindis, no hay porqué vestir como se espera que se haga, no es necesario lo usual para verse bien o sentirse bien. Los pantalones no son antónimo de feminidad, he visto miles de mujeres huir de ellos por pensar eso o por creer que no lucirán atractivas, lo contrario, un buen pantalón adecuado a la ocasión no solo es chic, elegante y hasta cómodo (recuerden que para verse bien no hay porque deshacernos de este adjetivo), también te hace lucir hasta sensual en tu prenda asociada a trajes de hombres, dependiendo del modelo y como lo combines, puede ser muy atrevidos y seductores; me gusta la idea de usar conjuntos recreando un traje de caballero pero con prendas sumamente femeninas.

Celebration days

Yes, we have much to celebrate: the comeback on the blog, the reason I left the blog for a while had its results... I graduated from college! And they're coming a few surprises for you.

There is nothing more appropriate than return to the blog celebrating with this look, as I wore it for an intimate meeting with my prom partners and our godfathers. It's a pretty simple look, no less complicated than a palazzo and blouse, but not something less appropriate, elegant and chic than this combination. When we say "party", "celebration", "meeting" the first thing we think is a dress and pumps because we believe that we will be feminine and sexy; but the truth is that to look bold we not necessarily must wear a cocktail dress type, remember that sometimes it's what is left to the imagination and can often get to remember the dress than the woman in it.

Sí, tenemos mucho que celebrar: la vuelta del blog, que la razón por la que abandoné al blog y a ustedes tuvo sus frutos ¡me gradué! y que se vienen algunas sorpresas para ustedes.

Nada más oportuno para regresar al blog celebrando que con este look, ya que lo usé para una reunión intima entre mis compañeros de promoción y nuestro padrinos de grado. Es un look bastante sencillo, nada menos complicado que unos palazzo y una blusa, pero tampoco algo menos apropiado, elegante y chic que esta combinación.  Cuando nos dicen "fiesta", "celebración", "reunión" lo primero que pensamos es un vestido y unos pumps porque consideramos que nos veremos femeninas y sexy; pero la verdad es que para vernos atrevidas no necesariamente debemos llevar un vestido tipo cóctel, hay que recordar que a veces vale más lo que se deja a la imaginación y que muchas veces pueden llegar a recordar más el vestido que a la mujer en él.

Houndtooth and flowers for Christmas

¡Hola, hola! espero que hayan tenido una cena de Navidad increíble, yo tuve una linda reunión con mi familia y aquí les muestro mi conjunto de la noche. Más que querer enseñarles el look, quiero explicarles cómo armé el outfit siguiendo mis pequeños consejos de este post. Mi reunión familiar fue una cena sencilla en la casa, por lo que quise estar cómoda sin llegar a estar muy casual, me decidí por pantalones, blusa sencilla y tacones bajos (viejos), prendas que sé que voy a poder usar en cualquier ocasión y que pueden tener muchas combinaciones, bien sea por los cortes sencillos de las prendas y lo atemporales que resultan ser. Si se dan cuenta, los pantalones son la pieza más arriesgada del look, pero lo clásico del estampado "pata de gallo" (si quieren lo podemos tratar más a profundidad en otro post) lo hace perfecto para no cansarme de usarlo. No hace falta comprar mucha ropa, solo ser inteligentes a la hora de hacer las compras, y más con estos conjuntos de fiestas donde nos volvemos locas.

Hello, hello! Hope you had an amazing Christmas dinner, I had a nice meeting with my family. Here show you my outfit of that night. More than wanting to show you the look, I explain how I built the outfit according to my little tips in this post. My family reunion was a simple dinner at home, so I wanted to be comfortable without becoming very casual, I decided on pants, simple blouse and low heels (old) clothes that I know I'll be able to use at any time and they can have many combinations, either by simple cuts and the timeless they can be. If you notice, the pants are the most risky part of the look, but classic print "crow's feet" (if you want we talk deeply about this in another post) makes it perfect to not stop using it. No need to buy a lot of clothes, just be smart when shopping, and more with these outfits of parties where we become mad .

Leather pants

Luego de haberles hecho un post de 'holidays outfits' con ideas y tips, y  haberles mencionado lo (casi) necesario que es tener un pantalón de "cuero", acá les dejo un look que les pueda inspirar y unas cuantas razones para tener uno en nuestro armario. Resulta que estos pantalones son unos típicos jeans negros que debemos tener, pero que son aún mejores que unos normales. Son tan prácticos como cualquier camisa blanca, a diferencia que es su textura lo que los hace más impactante que cualquier jean negro. Ellos convierten cualquier conjunto básico en uno muy divertido y chic, sin contar la actitud que te suma. Pueden conseguir desde un look recatado a uno muy sexy, el único consejo: ten cuidado combinandolo para lograr un connjunto sexy, porque sin mucho esfuerzo se puede caer en lo vulgar. Creo que desde que lo compré lo he usado al menos tres veces a la semana, estoy obsesionada con ellos y lo fácil que es llevarlo ¡Son mis nuevos jeans!

After have made to you a post about 'outfits for holidays' with tips and ideas, and mention how (almost) necessary is to have a leather pant, here I leave a look that could inspire you and some reasons to own one in your closet. It turns out that these pants are the typical black jeans that we should have, but some are even better than normal. Those are as practical as any white shirt, unlike that its texture make them more powerful than any black jean. They turn any basic outfit in a very fun and chic one, not to mention the attitude that add you. They can get from demure to a very sexy look, the only advice: be careful combining it to achieve a sexy outift because without much effort you can fall into the vulgar. I think since I bought it I've used it at least three times a week, I'm obsessed with them and how easy are to use. They are my new jeans!

Holidays outfits ideas and tips

Llegó la época del año, que sobre todo para mí, es la ideal para darse los gustos que no tuviste durante el año; esa época donde te vuelves shopaholic de verdad. A mí por ejemplo me pasa que compro las cosas que normalmente no haría, y todo con la excusa de los estrenos de las fiestas navideñas. Ya les he hablado un poco de mi estrategia para los conjuntos de estas fechas, pero hoy se los quiero refrescar, perfecto para evitar hacer locuras en las que nos podamos arrepentir. Los siguientes sets los creé a modo de ideas, solo para que lo tomen de ejemplo a lo que les digo y así puedan aplicarlos a sus propios gustos; las piezas usadas son de tiendas que todos conocemos (Zara, Mango, Topshop, H&M, Forever 21, Nine West, Steve Madden) y que no alcanza los 50 $.
