Another yin yang

Otra combinación blanco y negro, pero como siempre lo intento, no tan común y ¿Cómo? hacer diferentes combinaciones típicas como esta dependen de los mejores trucos y herramientas. Trucos: la confección de las prendas, aunque te parezca irrelevante, es muy importante, ya que si usas prendas muy básicas tu look será un conjunto blanco y negro básico como el resto, por eso juega con las formas, con las telas, las texturas y darás en el blanco. Mi truco favorito últimamente es recoger un poco los ruedos del pantalón y dejarlos a la altura de los tobillos, lo que le da un toque más clásico y elegante a los pantalones. Herramientas: SIEMPRE, siempre los accesorios, y con ellos puedes agregar un poco de color,mucho o poco, pero esto le dará otra dimensión al conjunto y elevará el look de común a interesante. Los zapatos también son clave, así que utiliza tus zapatos más refinados o aquellos con demasiado estilo, porque este es el tipo de looks donde vale la pena lucirlos.

In a rush

En nuestro subconsciente, todas tenemos un uniforme al que recurrir en apuros. Yo no me atrevería a decir que este es el mío, a pesar de lo sencillo y cómodo, no deja de ser pretencioso. Los jeans siempre serán mis favoritos, ni hablar de las blusas blancas, pero lo que le da el toque final es el sombrero y el maxi cardigan. Definitivamente esos dos complementos ponen a la vista la "regla de las tres piezas": agregar una pieza que no tenías prevista en tu outfit para hacerlo más interesante, y puede ser desde chaquetas, collares, maxi aretes, sombreros o lo que se te ocurra. Sin duda aplicar esta regla a mi conjunto llevo mi uniforme a ser un quasi uniforme.

Nature in my outfit

At just a step closer to be a total look, there are the outfits that combine with several tones of the same colors, and at least I call this neutral basics, you know, white, black, grey and earth colors. When my look holds in this type of combinations, I like to make it in earth colors, it makes me feel light and fresh without the need of using white. I wanted to break the pattern a little using grey, a color that to be honest, is not so frequent in outfits, fact I don't understand, because is a color that looks good with everything and in every person. Another thing that I like about the look are the strips of the sweater; to add that pattern, brought some fun to how boring could be those colors. Finally, a pair of sandals with heel to make it youthful and appropriate to hang out with the boy without being too obvious. 

A un paso de ser un total look, están los outfits que combinan varios tonos de los mismos colores, y yo al menos a este lo llamo los básicos neutros, ustedes saben, blanco, negro, gris y colores tierras. Cuando mi look se detiene en este tipo de combinaciones me gusta hacerlo en colores tierras, me hacen sentir ligera y fresca sin la necesidad de usar el blanco. Quise romper un poco con el patrón usando el gris, un color que a decir verdad es poco frecuente en los conjuntos, cosa que no entiendo, porque es un color que luce bien con todo y en cualquier persona. Otra cosa que me encanta del look son las rayas del suéter, agregarle ese patrón le sumó diversión a lo aburrido que pueden llegar a ser estos colores. Por último, unas sandalias con tacón para hacerlo juvenil y apto para salir con el chico sin ser muy obvia. También estoy usando una de las tendencias que mencioné en el último video, que son las telas peluditas, de una manera super sencilla y tan fresca como para poder usarla en el trópico.

Balmaination

Since november started we've been bombarded by H&M and its new collection that features a Collaboration with Balmain, an incredible and useful collection. Because of not to be part of the lucky countries where you can get the brand and not be one of those people who are cautious and probably did not sleep to attack the online store, I didn't want to stop looking like Kendall and Gigi in the campaign, aesthetically speaking, of course, I have to put a little more willingness to have a body like them and use many heels to reach the third of its height haha. Anyway, I was inspired by the Balmain's lookbook x H&M and created this outfit, keeping in mind that in this collection prevailing mix of textures: velvet, fur, silk, and the primary colors were black, white, emerald and navy blue. What I want to highlight in this look? You understand that to look like the catalog, you don't need the clothes. You just have to use your imagination.

Desde que empezó noviembre hemos sido bombardeados por H&M y su nueva colección que cuenta con la colaboración de Balmain, una colección increíble y muy usable. Por no ser parte de los afortunados países en los que se puede conseguir la marca y tampoco ser de las precavidas personas que probablemente no durmieron para atacar la tienda online, no quería dejar de lucir como Kendall o Gigi en la campaña, estéticamente hablando, claro, me toca poner un poco más de voluntad para tener un cuerpo como ellas y usar muchos tacones para llegar al tercio de su altura jaja. En fin, me inspiré en el lookbook de Balmain x H&M y creé este outfit, manteniendo en mente que en esta colección predominó la mezcla de texturas: terciopelo, piel, seda, y que los colores fundamentales fueron el negro, blanco, esmeralda y azul marino ¿Lo que me interesa que destaque en este look? que comprendas que para lucir de catálogo no necesitas las prendas, solo debes usar tu imaginación.

Roman Holiday

Sighs, sighs and sighs, more than words, that's what these pictures inspire me (especially those that I have stored on the computer) and sometimes those feelings speak louder than any words. This is the only summer look that I can show you from the trip to Italy, an amazing graduation gift, because rarely had someone who had time and patience to take pictures of me. I do not know if has happened to you, but now seeing these clothes and if I get to recreate this look, I will not do anything but think about the incredible experience. What excites me most about the outfit is that it involves a piece of national talent. Can there be better feeling than to have memories tied to a piece made in your country? I think few. This look only had two goals, keep cool but stylish, and I think I got it with that rare combination of blue and pink with a comfy gladiator sandals that were the favorites of the season. Suspiros, suspiros y suspiros, más que palabras, eso es todo lo que me inspiran estas fotos (sobre todo las que tengo guardada en la computadora) y a veces esas sensaciones hablan más que cualquier frase. Este es el único look veraniego que podré mostrarles del viaje a Italia, un increíble regalo de graduación, ya que pocas veces tenía tiempo y alguien que me tuviera paciencia para tomarme fotos jaja. No sé si les ha pasado, pero ahora al ver estas prendas y si llego a recrear este look, no haré más que pensar en la increíble experiencia que viví con el conjunto. Lo que más me emociona del outfit es que involucra una pieza de talento nacional ¿puede haber mejor sensación que tener recuerdos ligados a una pieza hecha en tu país? yo creo que pocas. Este look solo tenía dos objetivos, mantenerme fresca pero estilosa, y creo que lo conseguí con esa combinación poco común de rosado con azul y unas cómodas sandalias gladiadoras que eran las favoritas de la temporada ¿ustedes qué dicen? ¿lo logré? In my pants

Continuing with dates crowded of celebrations, I dressed with pastels for a toast, which was at daytime. In such a toast, there were many cocktail dresses, were not entirely misplaced, but back with the story that I commented on this post; to have a presence on one occasion, at an event, a toast, you do not have to dress like you are expected to do, it is not necessary the usual outfit to look good and feel good. Pants are not opposite of femininity, I've seen thousands of women fleeing for thinking that or believe that will not look attractive, otherwise a good pants suitable to the occasion is not only chic, elegant and even comfortable (remember to look good there is no reason to get rid of this adjective) also it makes you look so sexy in your garment associated with men's outfits, depending on the model and how you combine, it can be very daring and seductive; I like the idea of using sets recreating men's outfits but with very feminine clothes.

Siguiendo con las fechas abarrotadas de celebraciones, me vestí de pasteles para un brindis, el cual fue de día. En dicho brindis, habían muchos trajes cóctel, no estaban desubicados del todo, pero vuelvo con la historia que les comentaba en este post; para tener presencia en una ocasión, en un evento, un brindis, no hay porqué vestir como se espera que se haga, no es necesario lo usual para verse bien o sentirse bien. Los pantalones no son antónimo de feminidad, he visto miles de mujeres huir de ellos por pensar eso o por creer que no lucirán atractivas, lo contrario, un buen pantalón adecuado a la ocasión no solo es chic, elegante y hasta cómodo (recuerden que para verse bien no hay porque deshacernos de este adjetivo), también te hace lucir hasta sensual en tu prenda asociada a trajes de hombres, dependiendo del modelo y como lo combines, puede ser muy atrevidos y seductores; me gusta la idea de usar conjuntos recreando un traje de caballero pero con prendas sumamente femeninas.

The perfect pair

There is no feeling more satisfying than knowing you chose good shoes, especially when they are those perfect heels that can be used any day, with a casual look and your feet will not pay for fancy. Finding that perfect pair of comfortable casual heels is not easy, unless you have this in mind: choose those with thick heels, walking is easier and less tired because maintain your weight on a better way; do not get carried away by the higher, be moderate, you don't want neither too low nor too high; make sure they have good tie, that is, to hold your foot well and don't let you taking off from it, the best technique is to choose those with closed heel; do not forget that versatility is your best ally, shoes that combine with all is your best option, both to save and forget as to be just that comfortable pair that works for you. You can imagine that I walked secretly happy and gratified to have found the ideal pair for casual outings with the boy.

No hay sentimiento más satisfactorio que el conocer que escogiste bien unos zapatos, y sobre todo cuando son esos perfectos tacones que puedes usar en un día cualquiera, con un look casual y que tus pies no pagaran por el capricho. Encontrar ese par perfecto de tacones casuales cómodos no es tarea fácil, a menos que tengas esto en mente: escoge aquellos que tengan tacón grueso, es más fácil caminar y cansan menos porque sostienen mejor tu peso; no te dejes llevar por los más altos, sé moderada, no los quieres ni muy bajos ni muy altos;  asegúrate que tengan buen amarre, es decir, que sostengan bien tu pie y no permitan que te estés desliando en él, la mejor técnica es elegir aquellos que tengan el talón cerrado; no olvides que la versatilidad es tu mejor aliado, unos zapatos que combinen con todo es tu mejor opción, tanto para ahorrar como para despreocuparte por ser sólo ese cómodo par el que te funciona. Podrán imaginar que yo anduve feliz y secretamente gratificada por haber encontrado ese par ideal para salidas casuales con el chico.

Celebration days

Yes, we have much to celebrate: the comeback on the blog, the reason I left the blog for a while had its results... I graduated from college! And they're coming a few surprises for you.

There is nothing more appropriate than return to the blog celebrating with this look, as I wore it for an intimate meeting with my prom partners and our godfathers. It's a pretty simple look, no less complicated than a palazzo and blouse, but not something less appropriate, elegant and chic than this combination. When we say "party", "celebration", "meeting" the first thing we think is a dress and pumps because we believe that we will be feminine and sexy; but the truth is that to look bold we not necessarily must wear a cocktail dress type, remember that sometimes it's what is left to the imagination and can often get to remember the dress than the woman in it.

Sí, tenemos mucho que celebrar: la vuelta del blog, que la razón por la que abandoné al blog y a ustedes tuvo sus frutos ¡me gradué! y que se vienen algunas sorpresas para ustedes.

Nada más oportuno para regresar al blog celebrando que con este look, ya que lo usé para una reunión intima entre mis compañeros de promoción y nuestro padrinos de grado. Es un look bastante sencillo, nada menos complicado que unos palazzo y una blusa, pero tampoco algo menos apropiado, elegante y chic que esta combinación.  Cuando nos dicen "fiesta", "celebración", "reunión" lo primero que pensamos es un vestido y unos pumps porque consideramos que nos veremos femeninas y sexy; pero la verdad es que para vernos atrevidas no necesariamente debemos llevar un vestido tipo cóctel, hay que recordar que a veces vale más lo que se deja a la imaginación y que muchas veces pueden llegar a recordar más el vestido que a la mujer en él.

casual vs ladylike

Very few times I show you looks that I used to go out at night, which is due to a number of reasons that are irrelevant. But today we break the pattern (without removing the blue jean of the game haha) and think at that nightspot we want to go, transport us with this shy look, but hey! Politeness is no less brave *wink*. Nightlife does not mean having to suffer with shoes and be aware of the bottom of the dress, you can also go ideally using a simple shirt but not stop stealing glances, because what is left to the imagination can be even more tempting. The best thing about this outfit is the easy transition from a casual or even a formal outfit for the day and what is appropriate for the night. This is definitely the basis for any perfect 24 hours outfit, so I'll leave it to you as a game, using this look based on jeans and white shirt and discuss what you would add to make your dream outfit from day to night .

Contadísimas veces les muestro looks que he usado para salir en la noche, lo que se debe a un sin fin de razones que no vienen al caso. Pero hoy toca romper el patrón (sin sacar del juego al blue jean jaja) y pensar en ese sitio nocturno al que queremos ir, transportarnos con este tímido look, pero hey! lo cortés no quita lo valiente *wink*. Salir de copas no significa tener que sufrir con los zapatos y estar pendientes que el ruedo del vestido se suba, también se puede ir ideal usando una camisa sencilla pero sin dejar de robar miradas, ya que lo que se deja a la imaginación puede ser aún más tentador. Lo mejor de este outfit es la fácil transición de un look casual o hasta formal para el día y lo apropiado que es para la noche. Éste en definitiva es la base para cualquier conjunto perfecto para las 24 horas que tiene un día, así que les dejo como juego el usar este look base de jean y camisa blanca y me comenten qué le agregarían para hacerlo su outfit ideal del día para la noche.

Is GOT sunday!

It's strange back to blog after a break "for inventory," with such carefree like this look, but I must comment that I had to repeat the photos of this look at least four times because I didn't like the outcome of the photos until finally fourth was the charm. Actually this outfit goes back to the earliest days of the year, specifically the first of January where everyone (except me, of course) is waking up late or eating soup for the hangover. Surely this set continues to combine for days like today, a Sunday when is the premiere of Game of Thrones! or simply the day is very nice to worry about what we wear, but generally that motivates me to fix me more. I love all the pieces of this look, joggers pants look sporty in this outfit, but if you combine it otherwise you will have a completely different style; I am fascinated by the transparencies of the shirt, though have a casual cut these transparencies give a very sexy touch that removing the top inside, is ideal for the most daring and the bag, my close savior that is suitable for all, is of these bag that we all need.

Es extraño volver al blog después de un break "por inventario" con un look tan despreocupado como éste, pero les debo comentar que tuve que repetir las fotos de este look al menos unas cuatro veces porque no me gustaba el resultado de las fotos hasta que al fin la cuarta se hizo la vencida. Realmente este outfit se remonta a los primeros días del año, específicamente al primero de enero donde todo el mundo (menos yo, claro) está despertando tarde o tomando sopa para la resaca. Sin duda este conjunto sigue combinando para los días como hoy, un domingo cuando ¡estrenan Game of Thrones! o sencillamente el día está muy lindo como para preocuparnos por lo que vestiremos, aunque generalmente eso me motiva a arreglarme más. Me encantan todas las piezas de este look, los pantalones joggers se ven sporty en este outfit, pero si lo combinas de otra manera tendrás un estilo completamente diferente; me fascinan las transparencias de la camisa, aunque tienen un corte casual esas transparencias le dan un toque muy sexy que quitándole el top de abajo es un top ideal para las más atrevidas y la cartera, mi íntima salvadora porque se presta para todo, es de esas carteras que todas necesitamos.
