Twofold mood

Un Blog Bastardo just recently chatted a bit with me and asked me a few questions about the blog, among these, the typical "How do you define your style?". Personally I think anyone shakes with these questions, because it is the moment when you question who you really are. I've always said that I am who I am and who I wanna be and don't care label me in a way, because it would limit myself. Despite this, we all realize what are our tastes and inclinations, so lately I have detailed that I'm in a twofold mood: the simple and minimalist side and the most romantic and bohemian. Just today I got to be a little boho chic, and wear this new hat I cannot find how to quit. I think occasionally need to ask ourselves what we want to convey with our image and what we are doing with it, so I have taken on the task of deepening these two styles that are part of my personality. I think this will be the beginning of a series of entries relating to meet and develop our style. Do you dare to undertake this task too?

Hace poquito Un Blog Bastardo intimó un poco conmigo y me hizo una que otra pregunta relacionada con el blog, entre esas la típica "¿Cómo defines tu estilo?". Personalmente creo que cualquiera tiembla con este tipo de preguntas, porque es el momento en que te cuestionas quién eres realmente. Yo siempre he dicho que yo soy quien soy y quien quiero ser, no me interesa catalogarme en un estilo, porque sería limitarme. A pesar de esto, todos nos damos cuenta de cuáles son nuestros gustos e inclinaciones, por lo que últimamente he detallado que ando en un mood con dos vertientes: el lado más simple y minimalista al más romántico y bohemio. Hoy justo me dio por ser un tanto boho chic, y estrenar este sombrero que no hallo cómo dejar de usarlo. Creo que de vez en cuando es necesario preguntarnos qué queremos transmitir con nuestra imagen y qué estamos haciendo con ella, por lo que me he dado a la tarea de profundizar estos dos estilos que son parte de mi personalidad. Creo que éste será el inicio de una serie de entradas relacionadas con conocernos y desarrollar nuestro estilo ¿se animan a emprender ésta tarea también?

Kinda boho

Of the many styles, with which I identify the most is the bohemian (it may be for what basic and simple I really am), there are thousands of pieces with these airs in my closet and that those days I want to be more fresh and relaxed I invite them to take a walk. This time I wanted to give a different touch to one of these parts, and demonstrate that they can also be sophisticated. The trick is to wear pieces that add formality to bohemian garment, either using a good pair of heels, a midi skirt or a good formal trousers; anything that can increase the formal tone to your bohemian garment is invited. This time leather pants takes another context bohemian shirt and heels formality imprint finish to the garment.

De tantos estilos, con el que más me identifico es con el bohemio (debe ser por lo básica y sencilla que realmente soy), hay miles de piezas con estos aires en mi armario y que para los días que quiero estar más fresca y relajada las invito a pasear. Esta vez quise darle un toque distinto a una de estas piezas, y demostrar que con ellas también se puede ser sofisticada. El truco está en usar piezas que le agreguen formalidad a la prenda de corte bohemio, bien sea usando un buen par de tacones, una falda midi o unos pantalones bien formales; cualquier cosa que le pueda subir el tono formal a tu pieza bohemia está invitada. Esta vez los pantalones de cuero colocaron la camisa bohemia en otro contexto y los tacones terminaron de imprimir formalidad a la prenda.
