Poncho weather

For all we live in the tropic, nothing is more pleasing that visit places where we can have a walk with our few winter clothes, for me above all, that I am loyal to sweaters and to feel that my nose is getting frozen. This time I gave an opportunity to this poncho that was very saved inside my grandmother's wardrobe, I thought it was a trendy garment that gives a lot of style, despite I must admit that it is a bit tricky at the moment of wearing. If you dare to wear the poncho the same way as Olivia Palermo, Cara Delevingne and others, I recommend you: 1. Being the poncho an oversized garment (a size over the standard measure), wear it with tailored clothes, to not add much volume to your body and to make the poncho seems as lighter as should look, 2. Choose the rest of garments inside the same spectrum of colors as the poncho, to make it look more elegant and 3. You could add a belt and tie it up around the poncho to frame your figure.

Para quienes vivimos en el trópico nada es más gratificante que visitar sitios donde podemos llevar a pasear nuestra poca ropa de "invierno", sobre todo para mí, que soy fiel a los sweaters y a sentir que se me congela la nariz. Esta vez le di una oportunidad a este poncho que estaba muy bien guardado en el armario de mi abuela, pensé que es una prenda trendy que aporta mucho estilo, aunque he de admitir que es un poco engañoso a la hora de usar. Si te atreves a usar el poncho como lo han hecho Olivia Palermo, Cara Delevingne, entre otras te recomiendo que: 1. Como el poncho es una prenda oversize (una talla por encima de la medida estándar) úsalo con ropa entallada para no agregar mucho volumen a tu cuerpo y que el poncho luzca ligero como debe hacerlo, 2. Elige las demás prendas en la misma gama de colores que el poncho, para hacerlo lucir más elegante y 3. Puedes agregar un cinturón y atarlo por fuera del poncho para enmarcar tu figura.

White as winter

After using a slightly understated look for Christmas, for new year I decided on the opposite of this, and not just stop being so elegant like wearing black: I chose to use white. A representation and the only way to feel the majestic white hues of winter. From now one of my favorite looks of 2015. I wanted to start the year in a good way, on some shoes and daring (as one of my resolutions) with a burgundy lipstick and out of my comfort zone; so I think I managed the success of this set: forever my favorite white on white + the unexpected, a powerful lipstick.

Después de haber usado un look un poco sobrio para la Navidad, para año nuevo me decidí por el antónimo de éste, y que no precisamente deja de ser tan elegante como llevar negro: escogí usar blanco. Una representación y la única forma en sentir las majestuosas tonalidades blancas del invierno. Desde ya uno de mis looks favoritos del 2015. Quise empezar el año con buen pie, montada en unos zapatos y atreviéndome (como una de mis resoluciones) con un labial vino y saliendo de mi zona de confort; así creo que logré el éxito de este conjunto: por siempre mi favorito white on white + lo inesperado, un labial potente.
